Anomalie is the music project of Nicolas Dupuis, a keyboardist and producer based in Montreal, QC. Rising to worldwide fame after the release of his two EPs, Metropole Part I and Part II, Anomalie has developed a distinct and instantly recognizable musical identity. His style innovatively combines cutting-edge electronic production, jazz and classical harmonies, virtuoso keyboard skills, and an undeniably raw funk groove connecting it all together. This places his career in a singular position. His public cosigns include an eclectic mix of music heavyweights (Charlie Puth, Chromeo, D Smoke, and Snarky Puppy), and his fanbase is a mix of the new jazz scene (Louis Cole, Keifer), the soulful beats scene (FKJ, Masego, Tom Misch), and the post-dubstep electronic scene (Griz, Odesza, Opiuo). Anomalie sold out two world tours (North America, European, and Asia) with his intricate 4-piece live band, grew his online following in the millions across social media, and performed at the likes of Red Rocks, Montreal Jazz Festival, and Electric Forest Festival. Adding to his growing list of collaborations, Anomalie teams up with globally acclaimed songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Masego for their song "Memory Leaves". On the creative process behind "Memory Leaves", Anomalie shares, "as much as I enjoy playing music live with others, when it comes to writing and creating, I’ve always preferred doing it alone. Collaborations are still fun for me as they bring me out of my comfort zone, but once I’ve done one I’m usually excited to go back to my solo workflow. Working on Memory Leaves with Masego was invigorating. I found an amazing creative partner, and I’m still very much inspired by that session and the way the track came together. I was blown away!
